The joy you feel from getting a new car or your sport team winning is not God's joy. This is an excitement, an ego adrenaline. If your sport team lost, you would feel angry or depressed, controlled by your emotions. This up and down, being tossed like a rag doll and subject to events outside of you, is not of Him, and it is not a way to live life.His joy is always there, regardless of the outer circumstances. That is the joy of the Kingdom, your inheritance. This is a joy that comes from Oneness. How do you differentiate between ego excitement and true joy? If your sport team loses, you may be disappointed, but the joy of life and having His Presence will still be there, and you will soon forget about the team losing. And true joy is always accompanied by large gratitude.

The world's mythology, and even our current culture in films like Beauty and the Beast, has many situations where there is the appearance of someone who is acting for help but who is disguised like an old woman or someone they are not. When the help is refused, the disguise is revealed, and the person is cursed through a spell. There are many lessons in this. Do not be deceived by appearances of others. Do not be deceived by your appearance, for this is not who you are. You are given many "tests." Love is not fickle or random. Love is completely consistent --- it is there always. When these tests are presented, are you consistent? Are you always honest? Do you always come from the highest integrity? Do you always take the time to look behind appearances? Do you always have the right motive? These questions are not meant to punish you when you lapse. Everyone lapses. These questions are simply meant to call your attention to being completely consistent.

We were created by God, from God, out of Love. So that this Love relationship is authentic and given freely from us to Him, we were given free Will to love Him or reject Him. Parts of the One have rejected Him, but this is a process of coming back in our recognition to that which we never left. As we desire to align our Will with His, as we see that only His Will exists, we come back in our recognition and remembrance, as Jesus did. In the end all parts of the One will return for the call of Love is greater than anything else. Only Love exists.
