Logic would tell you that when something is taken from you, you "lose" it, but this is a view by a world which believes in differences and appears separate. A vision of Oneness shows us that Creation expands when we give out of Love, because we were created out of Love, by Love. Love gives fully without hesitation, knowing that it is giving to Itself. As more Love is expressed, God knows Himself at ever deepening levels.

Guilt, self judgment, and fear are legs on the same stool. One is rarely present without the other two. When we believed that we fell from Grace, we felt guilty, then we self judged, and then we felt fear. Guilt, self judgment, and fear are what individually and collectively we project out in this false world. They are not of the Kingdom. Where Love is present, they cannot be.

Self judgment stands in the way of you seeing who you truly are. Judgment stands in the way of you seeing who that other person is. The stronger you judge them, the more you want to use them as a shield from knowing God. For they are One with Him, as are you. It takes a warrior to have the courage to release judgment of all people and situations and to know that you no longer have the illusion of control.

You judge someone harshly, and often you get more information and see that your judgment was not right. Or you see someone in a good light, and you hear something which tarnishes that view. Do you see how variable this is? Both prove that judgment is not valid in any form.

How can you let something go if you don't first honor your feelings around it? If someone has done something which brings up anger in you but you try to rationalize that anger by saying you shouldn't feel that way or that it is not spiritual, not of God, you will not get past that energy. You will continue to hold that energetic pattern within you. You have to first "feel your feelings" before you can have peace.
That doesn't mean you have to stay with the anger or the hurt indefinitely. Every circumstance is different, and you may need to feel the anger or the hurt once, or you may need to feel it many times, depending on how the deep the issue and how traumatic the experience. Only you will know when you can say to God that you no longer want to feel that emotion and you want to see the situation from a higher perspective. Ultimately, all you want is peace, but peace can't come if you are suppressing emotions that want to come up, be expressed, and be released.

God will bring us many opportunities to practice forgiveness because that is one of our purposes here. There will also be that one person who you just don't want to forgive, often a family member or close friend who has hurt or betrayed you. But the hard ones are the ones where you are given the opportunity to take a quantum leap in your understanding and compassion and in your relationship with God.
It is important to recognize that you withhold forgiveness from someone because you want to punish that person. When we reflect on the need to punish, we can see that this belief comes from a larger belief system that God is a punishing God, not a God of Love. And it also comes from a belief that we have sinned and should be punished. For if we see sin in someone else, we see it in ourselves. If we have compassion on another and see their divinity, their Oneness with ourselves and God, we automatically have compassion on ourselves and see our Oneness with this other person and God.
We can see sin, separation, and judgment, or we can see what can better be classified as errors, along with Love, and Oneness. Realize that Love looks past. Realize that forgiveness is about YOUR joy and peace.

This question does not make any sense, as God expresses through you. He is not separate from you and is not making decisions about what happens to you. We make choices, and God --- through you, with you, in Oneness with you ---brings to you those experiences which you have asked for. But we are also One, so we experience and must deal with the consequences of the choices of others, from those individuals around us to those who are in power and make decisions which affect us.
Let's start out by asking what do you consider a "bad" thing? This is the first question that needs to be examined, because everyone has a different definition of what they consider "bad" based on their own specific experiences and belief system. One person might say that alcoholism is bad, but another person might say that this is not the case if they had an experience where great healing and forgiveness came out of it. So each of us has a different definition of what is "bad." The point here is that we live in a dream world where our perceptions and definitions of things are constantly changing. Everything is just an appearance. This doesn't mean that even though it is an appearance, we accept everything as it is. The appearance changes when we change how we see it. As difficult as it may be, if you do not condone the action but see the Love behind the appearance of a murderer or rapist, you are healing many things in you, in the rapist, and in the appearance of the world.

Even in the midst of strong grief and pain, allow yourself to laugh. Laughter comes from a knowing that it is not all as it seems, that it will be okay, even in the midst of tragedy. God's joy can be found in every circumstance, regardless of the difficulty. His joy and peace are the tools you need to move through these difficult situations. Remember your Oneness and what underlies all appearances.

Do you ever notice that you will have a thought and it will take away your peace and joy? The specifics of the thought can be anything, but the thought is always fear/worry, grievance, self judgment based, and it is never in the present moment. You are always worrying about something, holding a grievance against someone, or judging yourself for something that has occurred or yet to occur. That's because in the present moment He is there and fear/worry, grievances, and judgment are not possible. Do you think its possible that your peace and joy are always there and your thoughts you don't share with God, your ego thoughts, take you out of the peace and joy? Can you trust those ego thoughts if they don't come from Him? His thoughts are always love/compassion, peace, and joy based, fully in the moment. Can you operate in the world without your ego thoughts a the driver of the bus? Yes you can, and as you increasingly listen to His thoughts, you will begin to see how very dysfunctional your previous way of functioning was.

Continual negative thought brings negative experiences to you as well as negative health. If you then allow these negative experiences and your negative health to create a belief in you that the world is negative or bad or out to get you, and you see yourself as sickly, you are reinforcing something false through the power of your belief. This creates a vicious downward cycle. And your beliefs create your reality.

As you move along the journey, you may lose friends with whom you have had long relationships. You will gain new friends, often total strangers, and it will seem that you are very comfortable with them after only one or two encounters. You fit with them like two adjoining pieces of a puzzle. When the timing is right, pieces of the puzzle go in easily, and you call to you those pieces with whom you have an interlocking relationship. You are very comfortable with them, because you are meeting your Self.

Sometimes we become concerned when there is nothing happening in an area of our life, like our job or our relationships. But in order for the new to come in, the old has to die. The times of inactivity and stillness lay the foundation for the rebirth. There is a Divine flow to everything. Ride the flow and let it carry you effortlessly.

What have you chosen as your vehicle to remember who you truly are? A beautiful body, a deformity, large wealth, great athletic ability and fame, a unique talent? Who have you chosen to have a lifelong teaching-student relationship with? A parent, a spouse, a sibling, a child, a close friend, a work partner? You may have thought of several vehicles, and you are only scratching the surface. What about those encounters with people that last a week, a day, or just a moment? When you start looking for God in everything and everyone, you will find Him. There is no where and no time He is not present.

You can't see someone or something for who they really are if you judge them. You can't have compassion on another if you don't first have compassion on yourself. You can't have compassion on yourself if you judge yourself. If you judge yourself, you project that judgment on to others, and you see neither yourself nor them for who you really are.

God does not battle with or attack the ego, nor does He battle with you if you see only through ego eyes. This is an ego belief that such a battle would be possible. God knows nothing that is unreal and not of Him. He knows of nothing He did not create. He sees only His Love creation.

Attack comes from the belief you can be treated unfairly. If you believe you can be treated unfairly, you also believe you can be treated fairly at times. Who is the arbiter of what is fair and not fair? What you see is fair will be completely different than the next person --- thus there is no absolute. There is no absolute, because what is fair is an ego based system of classification, one where someone always gains and someone always loses --- a belief in sacrifice. The ego believes that sacrifice is real. Unity shows us that sacrifice does not exist, that what is given to another is given to yourself because we are One. What you give comes back to you exponentially. That is why it is so important to give Love. When you give Love, it does not deplete the Love you have to give. It increases it because by giving it, you affirm that you have it to give, and you give it to yourself.

Whether it is a lifelong or a fleeting relationship, each person you encounter serves as a mirror to reflect back to you your greatest hopes, your greatest fears, your false beliefs, and how you see Him.

When you judge someone, you have placed your perceptions and individual judgments on that person, obscuring the true meaning and understanding of who they truly are. Your judgments block your seeing their divinity.

If you have fear over not having enough money, receiving some extra funds does not abate the fear. It only appears to abate it. Cessation of fear comes only from knowing that these extra funds are from God, the Source of all abundance. Knowing your Oneness and knowing that abundance can be given to you in many forms is the only way to truly withdraw your belief in fear.

Surrender means not trying to figure it out. The more fearful we become, the more we try to use the ego mind to figure it out, and this is the opposite direction we need to go as the ego mind is not of God. Only He can alleviate your fear. And you can't figure Him out. You can only BE with Him.

Most people perceive a difference between sharing a thought and giving away something, like a material possession. They believe that when you give away goods or possessions, you have "lost" them. But this is a view from a separated mind. Thought creates matter. When you share a thought, it is the same as when you give away a possession. Sharing of thoughts strengthens them. This is how Creation unfolds. So when you share, either in thought form or in "material" form, you will bring more of that back to you. Also, when you share something, you acknowledge to the Universe that you have that to give. You can only give that which you possess. This reinforcement and acknowledgment brings you more of what you have given, whether that is Love, peace, money, or possessions.

One act of service, done without the desire that it be known, is infinitely more powerful and rejoiced in Heaven than a thousand acts done with the desire that people hear about them.

What you are being asked to see is that everything around you is changing while you are the Changeless. You are the constant, the non changing entity. It may appear that you change along with everything else, but you are the constant, you are the Divine.

Through the eyes of Oneness and vision, diversity and differences are appreciated as the "richness" of God. Through the eyes of the ego differences are seen as something you judge and don't understand. With the ego differences are to be judged and attacked, not seen as a blessing.
