Daily Light: August 2019
Do you realize how holy you are? You are Grace, for your Creator has given you the Kingdom.
How do you choose to use that Grace? Do you choose to ignore or hoard it? Or do you choose to dispense it?
You are literally God's hands and feet. You have the ability -- if you align your Will with His --- to be a blessing to everyone you encounter. Just like you are blessed by God in every moment with His Grace, you can do the same for everyone you encounter, and the same for yourself.
This is why you are here. You are not here to make a lot of money (although there is nothing "wrong" with that), nor are you here to achieve some grand recognition by how the world sees it. You are here to awaken and be a dispenser of Grace.
As you give Grace to others, you give it to yourself for we are One. This is the ultimate confirmation and "put into action" the expansion of Creation. For you live and have your being in Christ (God), and you bless others to bless yourself. Love gives ... and gives ,,, and gives. Just like water which finds it lowest level and joyously tumbles over the rocks (obstacles) in the process, we/Love/God seek to bless and pull the lowest levels of this world into the Kingdom. And this gives us immense joy, as that is our God DNA. That is what we are made of, regardless of what false things we believe about ourselves.
So the next time you encounter a difficult person or someone has hurt or betrayed you, ask God for help in dispensing forgiveness and Grace upon the person and situation, as well as upon yourself in helping you heal and helping you to see it from a higher perspective.

You cannot give something unless you first have it to give.
You must have forgiveness in order to give it. You must have Love in order to give it. In the Kingdom that which you have is what you are, so in the above, you are Love and forgiveness.
Because we are One, you do not "lose" something by giving it. You actually increase it because you are giving back to yourself.

The meek shall inherit the Earth. Why do you give your power away to those outside of you? Why do you look to the government, groups, religious authorities, movie stars, etc to "save" you? For you might say that God or Jesus is the one to "save" you, but when you listen to anyone else over your own God Self, you are looking to something outside of you to save you.
You think that these people or organizations are there for you, but in the large majority of cases, they are operating from ego and advancing their own interests, their need to be affirmed and adulated. And then it becomes follow the herd mentality --- even if the herd is taking you over a cliff, which they are.
Jesus did not say the powerful politicians or the religious authorities would inherit the earth. He said the meek. Most of these people are not known, but they are the ones who most live to be in and do God's Will. They are the ones feeding the homeless, working in the projects, in the ghettos of Chicago or the slums of Calcutta. They are the ones living in unison with nature on the land.They are the ones who know that the world has nothing to offer. They live from their heart, in the moment, having great joy in being a clear vessel through which God can work to bless others.
And they are humble. For this life is not about what job you do or your education, and it is certainly not about how much money you accumulate, which is the big lie of this reality. It is about remembering our Unity and expressing God --- His Love, compassion, kindness.
Don't look to anything outside of you to provide any of your needs, for God is THE only Source. Don't look to anyone to be an intermediary with God, for God is within YOU. Jesus came to show us the way. He can be an elder brother who shows us, but as he said, the Kingdom is within you. As he awakened the Christ within him, you awaken the Christ within you.
Are you attached to things of the world, for if so, Jesus told us how that would end (hint --- not well). Center your Self in God and His/Her Love and know what is Real.

It can be good to be logical and ask a lot of questions, but there comes a time when faith trumps logic and the questions cease.
This is when you move from the head to the heart. The heart is the center of our intelligence and the brain is a willing servant to the heart ... except for when we place a huge faith in our ego thinking. We can only do what is "right" for us and what God is guiding us to do when we make the decision from our heart.

Forgive God the "sins" -- false beliefs -- which you have cast upon Him. Yes, forgive Him, and in the same process, you will forgive yourself. They are one and the same.

What is your problem? No, I am not being accusatory or judgmental and saying why don't you fix something? Better stated, what is THE problem?
Sure, each person has different "problems" --- no job, no money, bad health, addictions, difficult family circumstances, no significant other --- the list can go on and on. But THE problem underlying them all, the core problem, is the belief that we are separate from God.
When we hold that belief, we don't turn to God, and we don't believe He will help us. So all of your "problems" become magnified and seem very real. Of course, if you don't have a way of producing income or a roof over your head, that is a reality you have to deal with. But if you know that you are not separate, that He will take care of all of your "problems", that He has given you the inheritance to the Kingdom, you really don't worry about these "problems" because you know He will take care of them if you give them to Him and KNOW that He will provide.
And the magical thing is that He will do this, and these "problems" will clear up quickly. In God all things are possible --- and promised. If your circumstances continue to be difficult, recognize what the true problem is. Be completely willing to search within and uncover those beliefs about God and yourself that no longer serve you and that don't align with Unity and Truth.

You may have been victimized, but you are not a victim, regardless of
what happened to you, and many have encountered horrific circumstances
such as traumatic childhoods, sexual/mental/ physical abuse, rape, etc.
Every experience, even the rally "bad" ones, is an opportunity for
growth, if we allow it to be and allow God in to help us heal. For we
are not victims, but we are warriors in Christ, divine beings who
reflect the Unity with our Fat her/Mother and all parts of the One.
Use the traumatic experiences as manna to see who you really are. For
when we begin to heal and take our power back from the experience, we
can see through contrast -- contrast to our eternal nature and that our
Spirit can truly never be hurt --- that we are powerful. What happened
to you does not define you UNLESS you let it. What happened to you is a
grain of sand in an eternal beach of experiences.
This does not
mean that you don't have emotions and unprocessed energetics around what
happened, because you do, especially if it happened in childhood when
you did not have a support system to help you process it (and you buried
it). But as we process these emotions, we learn to have compassion on
ourselves, which is gas for our recognition of our divinity. As we
process these emotions, we can feel God right there with us, as He
experiences everything that we experience. It is His/Her Love and
comfort, His Grace, which will see you through.
Be powerful in your divinity, not powerless as someone who sees themselves as a victim.

You look at your highest good from an ego standpoint of "good" and "bad" that revolves around your judgments.
For instance, if your car is hit and requires you to go to lengths to get the insurance money and get it fixed, then you consider that a hassle. But what if that person who hit you needed forgiveness? What if the insurance claims person was having a bad day and you said a kind word that made a huge difference for him?
We make judgments from a very limited perspective. We need only to accept that what happens to us is for a purpose, and that purpose is our highest good as well as the highest benefit for the whole, which are the same.

Don't stand up for your beliefs. Stand up for your truth.
There is a difference. We have beliefs, because we live in this false world. Your beliefs change, but your truth never changes. Sometimes it may appear that your belief aligns with your truth, but take a closer look. Don't use a belief as an excuse not to look at your truth, because there are times when you don't want to face your truth.

It is not the mistakes you make that are the issue, for we are all make mistakes on this journey of remembrance.
Have you ever seen a child who learned how swim or ride a bike the first time they attempted it? So have self compassion, and these really aren't mistakes, they are learning opportunities.
But if you don't learn from these opportunities and do it different the next time, if you don't evolve, don't become a more loving person, then it's like continually beating your head against the wall and you become bloodied.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over when its not working. The human species, with its ability to have thought, can be a stubborn one when doing what it needs to do to find the peace and joy of God.

If you are not happy with your life, you can change that instantly.
It is how you look at your circumstances or situation, not the
circumstances themselves, which allows your God given joy to be
revealed.
The joy is always there --- you block it with how you see things, with false beliefs.

We are in a time when the wheat is being separated from the chaff.
We are all energetic beings and quantum physics has proven that everything in the universe is in vibration. You want to be vibrating at the higher levels of God's Kingdom, where only joy, peace, gratitude, Unity, and Love are present. You don't want to be vibrating in the lower levels of the world where everything appears separate, where evil and greed and envy and hatred manifest. This is what is meant by "Be in this world but not of it."
How do you do this. First, you have to be aware of what is going on in the world but not be enmeshed in it. How are you interacting with others --- are you getting angry and trying to argue with people and change their mind? In Unity, in God's Kingdom, "right" and "wrong" don't exist as the ego mind wants them to exist. Love sees past appearances because Love is looking from a higher plane.
When someone asked Mother Teresa if she would go to a anti war rally, she said no, but she said she would go to a pro peace rally. Think about that. Everything is of God. If we are against something, we are against a part of God.
Be for respect, honoring all religions, all individual choices instead of against racism and bashing those who promote it. Be for environmental protection versus bashing those hurting the Earth. This doesn't mean you don't speak up, but are you doing with it respect and compassion for all life and Unity --- this is the only way change will occur and we will bring in God's Kingdom.
Remember, if you are getting angry, you are likely in a lower vibration and you don't want to stay there. Use the anger to motivate you to help create change in a very positive and respectful way.
If you are willing to look at your anger, your fear (which is great in the world) and your biases, then you will not only create great healing for the world but also for yourself. And you are here to remember and come back to a recognition that you have always been One with God.

In the last few years there have been many books on manifestation and teachers of this "secret". These individuals have discovered the inner workings and laws of the Universe.
This is fine if your goal is to become rich, but this misses the whole point of our existence. These individuals have learned how to play the game, but they are missing WHY we play the game.
There has to be much greater meaning than living an existence to have a nice home, fancy cars, etc. And thank goodness there is -- it is just that each of us has to realize this and discover for themselves why we are here.
We are here to have an experience of God working within and through us -- we are the image and likeness of God. As we evolve and awaken, God evolves and awakens, and Creation expands. God comes to know Himself/Herself through us, through every part of the Universe, regardless of how small, how inanimate. And He comes to know Himself as Love, for this is what He is. We are His Beloved, and He ours.
Most people are asleep to their divinity and the understanding that God is within, but God has an experience whether someone is awake to it or not. It becomes Heaven on Earth when someone is awake and can be a clear vessel through which God can bless the world with His Light and Love. And when we love, we feel great joy, for we are fulfilling our role here and we are being a full expression of our divinity.

Albert Einstein said you can't solve a problem in the consciousness in
which it was created.
Think about that. The world we see can't be healed
using the means of the world. Only by raising our perspective to one of
Unity and Love can we then know the guidance to see the solutions. Only
through Love, non judgment, through releasing the belief in separation,
can we create Heaven On Earth.

"If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." When we
have a singular focus, and that focus is God, then our outer covering
becomes like a thin veil, allowing our true nature, our light, to shine
through.
Throughout his teachings Jesus tells us how to become like him.
As he showed his body full of light, so can we. If our focus is not
singular --- we are in no man's land --- "ye cannot serve God and
mammon." If we fully give our attention to our relationship with Him,
then we have no worries about being provided with those things of the
world. "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and
all these things shall be added unto you."

How can you make judgment of something you do not understand? And I promise you that you do not understand anything, because you judge on partial evidence.
Your eyes bring you what it is your mind wants to see. Your mind wants to see what it is that validates your beliefs. And your beliefs have been created from your experiences, which are narrowly focused and unique to you.
This is why you make judgments --- self judgments, judgments of others, judgments of situations or experiences, judgments of your divinity and God --- based on partial evidence. Partial evidence is no evidence --- how many times have you judged someone or something, only to get "evidence" down the line that made you realize you were wrong?
Place no faith in judgment, because judgment is not of God. His Love, unconditional Love (Love without conditions), sees past all of the "errors" or "sins" you think that you or others have done in this dream to His holy child who has never separated from Him.
So how do you walk in this world without judgment? You evaluate, you discern, from Love, not from the ego's judgment. Then you can truly be making decisions based on His Will for you.

Are you allowing your natural feelings to arise, or are you feeling what you think you should feel?
If you are feeling what you think you should feel, this is originating from thought and is not a true feeling. For example, let's say that you are mad at a friend because they betrayed you, and you find out that person has terminal cancer. Do you think you can't be mad and you should have compassion? And if you don't feel that way, you are a "bad" person?
This is where a lot of falsehoods intersect. First, self judgment is what cuts us off from God. So do not judge how you are feeling. If you are still feeling mad, honor that. Now, you may want to change that as it does not bring you peace, but you can't change the anger by stuffing it or saying that it is inappropriate to feel it.
Once you have accepted and honored that feeling of anger, then you can give it to God. This may not be the end of the anger, but you are allowing it to pass through you without resistance. When you have finally processed the anger and forgiven, then the compassion for this person can arise in you naturally, not forced by your though that you should be feeling something.

Have you read the accounts of a few people in the Holocaust concentration camps who saw the Divine behind the horror? Sometimes severe trauma will cause what is false to fall away, revealing what is all that exists.
God is present everywhere, even in the most horrific of circumstances. Certainly most of the people running the concentration camps or someone perpetrating sexual abuse on a child is not aware of their divinity or they would not do these acts which go against their Divine nature, but God is present in all forms, all experiences.
Most people don’t understand this because they judge through the lens of their own experiences and what they see as right and wrong. But if you ask 1000 people what is right and wrong, or you ask 1000 people the definition of sin, you will get 1000 different answers. Anything that changes, that is variable like our beliefs, is not of God as God is Changeless. God experiences change through and as us, but it does not alter who God is.
So what is right and wrong for you will be different than what is right and wrong for me, and what is right and wrong for me in this moment may change in the next moment. Most people would say that the murder of someone is wrong, but what if that act was the impetus for the spouse of the murdered person to know forgiveness at a deep level for the murderer and then through that, maybe for themself. And maybe that was the chosen goal of what this person wanted to achieve on Earth. This could have come in a number of ways, but it came through this experience, and God used it to make manna. Everything that happens is holy because it cannot not be holy, for it is God having an experience.
We cannot begin to understand all that is happening within the body of God as we are but one cell. So we are in no position to judge anyone or any experience, including our own. Sometimes with Grace we are shown certain glimpses about ourselves and we are very grateful when this happens.
So as both the Son and One with God, we have a complete experience of God in form. As someone once said, we are both the sculptor and the clay being sculpted. This allows us to be a true Cocreator, to understand that no experience is more holy than another for God in and as us. When you judge something, not prefer as in what foods you like to eat, but judge some experiences or people as better than another, you have reinforced a belief in separation and duality which does not exist. Since most people do this, this is the world we see, but just as in the concentration camps, this is only an appearance.
Let’s bring the world’s appearance in line with the reality by recognizing the Divine within all of us and allowing our Light and our Divine mirrors to illuminate others and the world.

When you are an adult, you have the capacity to self nurture and to
understand your relationship with God in a much deeper way than you do
as a child. As an adult, whether you follow them or not, God gives you
the tools to heal and to bring you closer to Him.
For many children it
is about survival. They do not have the awareness to understand why
their parents or other adults would abuse them emotionally, sexually, or
physically. If you have been through that type of experience as a
child, you understand the deep sadness that accompanies this type of
situation.
All of us have known or seen kids that are in horrible
situations. Even if it is only for a brief instant, be a light in that
child's life. Maybe it is only a smile, but let them know of God's
presence through you. Give them something that tells them there is good
and joy outside of this horror they are in.
Teach your children and
grandchildren that it is the child who is ostracized and excluded, or
the child who acts out at school who is most in need of their friendship
and Love. We are meant to live a life filled with joy, not sadness. We
cannot make this journey back to God alone. Until each of us lives this
joy filled life, our work is not done.

Emotions are the pathway to God. We are all on a spiritual path, because everything is God, everything is Spirit. So we are each remembering this.
We are all on an emotional healing path, because our emotional body is as significant as our physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. God is Love. We come to know Him/Her, to know thyself, to remember our Unity and our Beloved relationship with Him/Her, through the emotions. As God the Absolute, a noun, expresses through all Creation, through each of us, God becomes a "verb." Love as the Absolute expressed through Creation becomes Love the verb. It is kind of like G.I.A. --- God in action.
So our emotions are very important. We are not on a spiritual and on an emotional healing path --- these are not separate; they are one, as everything is One. The more open and emotionally authentic we are, the greater we can remember our Unity with God and All that is and the greater God can express through each of us.
Unfortunately, many are frozen emotionally at an earlier age. Many people, especially in childhood, have undergone emotional trauma, whether that be physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. Even if you grew up in a household with very loving parents, there was some type of minor trauma, because human love is conditional and can never reach Divine Love. We came into this life from a place where we knew only Divine, unconditional Love. But for many, significant trauma occurred in childhood, and a child of 6 or 10 years of age is usually not able to express the emotions around that trauma at that time, so they end up disassociating.
But the anger, the grief, the shame, the guilt over what happened is still there, and this gets carried into adulthood and spills out in so many ways, creating dysfunctional relationships, depression, anxiety, etc. Healing is meant to happen. You are not meant to stay in this hell, and God gives us signs, gives us people, books, dreams --- many, many sources that can help us. But most people disregard these signs. Most people are fearful of working to heal the perceived darkness inside of them. And it is perceived, but once it is brought to the Light, it becomes the Light and gives you power, taking you from a victim to a warrior.
At some level we have chosen our experiences, so we must look at these experiences and know that they are gifts to help us remember who we are. Seeing them as gifts does not mean that we should not have great compassion on ourselves (or others who have experienced trauma). It does not mean that temporarily we don't fall into self pity, or that it is an easy process, or that we don't get angry about it, or want to stop. Because often it can be hard. But God is holding you each step of the way. And what is the alternative?
You can only feel joy to the extent you are willing to feel sadness, etc. One the paradoxes of our life here is that we are Spirit in a human form. We have chosen experiences, and they serve as a gift to help us awaken to our greater Self, but the human condition and what we experience in a body can be difficult at times. So if you recognize yourself on a spiritual path, you can't spiritualize or intellectualize the emotions that come up in you. You are still disassociating like you did when the trauma happened.
You have to FEEL them and look behind them to what are the false beliefs you learned that are creating and upholding these emotions -- I am not lovable, I am bad, I am not smart or pretty or worthy. Whatever they are, they are NOT true. These are just stories you learned from those --- parents, caretakers, groups, society --- who didn't know any better. They were asleep to who they really are, and they acted out of ignorance and their own lack of self worth.
You can only come back to a remembrance of God, you can only get so far on the spiritual path, without healing the splits and perceived darkness inside of you.

Don't argue for your limitations. It sounds easy and logical, right? But people do it all the time. They believe they are only capable of certain things.
They believe God will only bless them to a limited extent --- they place God in a box. You are Divine --- you are One with God, and that means no limits on anything. Did Jesus not raise the dead and say that we would do greater things than Him?

You must choose between what is valuable (God and Heaven), and what is valueless (the world).
Don't be deceived there can be compromise on this, that you can choose most of Heaven and just a little bit of the world. If you choose even one thing of the world, you have chosen the world completely. This does not mean that you don't enjoy the experiences and material goods of this dream, but it does mean that you are not attached and that you know these things of the world are not real.

When you pray for something in Christ's name, what does that mean?
Christos means Love in Greek. Jesus became the Christ, He became Love, through his remembrance and recognition that he had never left Oneness with our Father.
You can pray to Jesus, and that will always be effective, but if you pray in Christ's name, you are praying in, within and to Love. When you pray in Christ's name, you are also praying to Jesus, because he is One with Christ, as are you. When you pray in Christ's name, you are reinforcing that which you are --- Love.

When we are told to pray without ceasing, this does not necessarily mean that we are constantly saying a prayer in our thoughts. This is not practical as we move through the world.
But what is possible is to constantly keep our attention on God. To remember Him and to continually call in His Presence is the highest form of prayer, because it is communion.
You can do this in every moment, even when you are doing tasks or talking to someone. The more you do this, the greater will your peace be.
