When you want misfortune or something bad to happen to people, even if it is as "mild" as being glad that others are stuck in a traffic jam on the other side of the highway, you are at war with yourself. This has nothing to do with the other person. How you feel about them individually or how you feel about a group of people is a reflection of how you feel about yourself, and when you want to punish them, you want to punish yourself.

We believe that numbers leads to credence for our judgments. If we have a false belief and we join a group of people who hold the same belief, it seems to help us feel safe, although this is false. Similarly, if we see and judge a certain group of people in a negative light, putting a lot of people into that group or category also seems to give more credence to our false belief. Both are ego attempts at feeling safe, but safety is only of God, and there is no judgment in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Attachment --- to someone, something, or some outcome --- creates an appearance of separation from God. When we are attached, we favor one thing over another, which creates dis-unity, as God is All, God is One. If we are attached, we are really saying our attachment is more important than God. You can want something or an outcome without being attached to it.

You live in the heart of God. This is your sanctuary, your peace, and above all, your Love. Do you know that the human heart puts out a much larger electromagnetic field than the brain? Our heart is the center of our thinking, the center of our Being --- not the egoic mind contained in a brain. We have lost that knowledge, that realization. Only through a filter of Love is how we are meant to operate and think. Only through Love is how God thinks, because Love is THE only force in Creation. Love is ALL. When we live from an open heart, we live and have our Being in God.

We get so caught up in the horrible things happening in the world and in our daily activities, with so much to do in this society, that we forget how blessed we are. We are meant to live in a continual state of of love, joy, and peace. But we have forgotten this, and society's messaging tells us to look in the wrong places. We have to look inside, and then we have to take the gem inside and give it to others. Only through giving can we receive, for we are One and we receive what we give. This is the beautiful endlessly circulating fountain of God and His Love. This is one of the main reasons we are here. We can always feel this undercurrent of joy, even when we are feeling sad or grieving something like a death -- a death within us like the letting go of a false belief, a pet, someone we love, etc. Experiencing grief is part of the human condition and it makes for a holy interplay between our divinity and humanity. For this Earth experience is unique and holy, even when we are experiencing adverse circumstances, health issues, grief. The undercurrent of joy comes from the experience of God within, that no matter what we have going on, He is with us eternally and is experiencing the same, carrying us when needed. And that this Earth experience is one of many, like a wave on the ocean that then loses form and returns to the vastness of the ocean. Recognizing we are just a wave that will lose its form allows us not to be attached to any forms within this world. All just the vastness of the ocean taking form temporarily but then returning to no form with great joy.
