Passion is not of the intellect.

Passion comes from the emotions, from the heart. We feel something strongly, not just believe in it.

Belief without passion is lifeless. That is because our beliefs --- our opinions, perceptions, and judgments --- change. These come from a thinking mind, the intellect or ego.

Passion is interlinked with joy. It is alive and the inspiration for our passion comes from Him.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the vehicle through which you see that this world is not real --- forgiveness of others, forgiveness of experiences and events and the world itself, forgiveness of yourself, and forgiveness of God.

For when you forgive, it helps you to see from a different perspective. It helps you to leave that attack/blame/judgment vision and come to one of Unity and Love.

When you do this, the appearance of the world, which is false, falls away, revealing His Kingdom.

Where There Is Fear ...

Where there is fear, there is self judgment. The two exist together, because you remove one, and the other goes as well.

How do you remove them? By recognizing that you are One with God and that He loves you more than anything you can imagine. Fear comes from a belief in separation. When we know our Unity, fear cannot be present, only Love can. Love is the only thing that exists --- fear is an appearance upheld by your individual and the collective belief system.

Judgment (self and others) cannot exist in Unity. It is also an appearance upheld by a false belief system. Love washed away all judgment as it is does with fear.

Compassion is the natural byproduct of Love, for when we see with eyes of Unity, we see others as ourself and as God. Thus if we step out of the self judgment, we can have self compassion, and automatically we have compassion on others. This state is Heaven on Earth.

Love, compassion, and Unity coexist in the way that fear and self judgment do, but they are Real, not illusory --- thank goodness.

Contrast To What Is Real

It is really hard to see the goodness of God and of Life when the world appears to you as bleak, with wars, disease, murder, and economic calamities. It would be much easier to see goodness if the events and circumstances of the world appeared that way.

But the world appears how you want to see it. The events and circumstances are negative, because you are applying your belief system to them, and that is a system of judgment.

If you see despair, then turn that to your advantage, because your greatest leaps in awareness can come during these times. The "negative" provides a stark contrast to what is Real --- that all is goodness and Love at a Spirit level. It doesn't mean we aren't of service in the false world, but we know it is like a play on the stage.

Judgment Leads To Perceived Separation

Here is how it goes. You have a certain thought, action, or non action which you judge yourself for. For the vast majority of people, this judgment is unconscious. When you judge yourself, this makes you feel separate from God. Of course, we are One with Him, and nothing can change that, but our belief creates the appearance that we are separate.

If we believe that we have done something to separate from God, we judge that, which leads to more perceived separation, more judgment. This all started with the one thought, action, or non action which we had and judged ourselves for. It doesn't matter what that was and to what degree --- it could have been something as simple as judging the fact that we didn't feel like going to the grocery because we were tired.

Most people live in a continuous cycle of self judgment. The only way to stop this cycle is to witness your thoughts, recognize the self judgment, and bring His Presence in to your awareness. Where He is, Oneness is self evident, and self judgment does not exist.

You are the master gardener, lovingly taking care of many varieties of plants, flowers, bushes, and trees, all blossoming under your care, and you never tire or feel overloaded. That is what joy does for you.

Obedience

Obedience has a strong negative connotation that is unwarranted when we talk about it in relationship to God.

Obedience to God is not His dictate. It is a choice that we make after we have usually traveled a long journey consisting of many trips which led us nowhere.

Obedience to God is done out of joy, not fear. It is done out of Love. And it is done because it brings us the greatest peace.

Obedience simply means the submission of a false self so that He can move and have His Being in us.

Let Spirit Lead

Do not let your mind lead. Let Spirit lead, and let your mind follow. Use your mind as a tool that you pick up when you need it. It is not the engine of your car; it is the cupholder. When you judge, or when your beliefs are hardened around who you are, who God is, what you are doing here, etc., your mind is leading, not following. This mind that you use to get through life will pass away, because it is not eternal. Anything not eternal is not real. Let what is eternal lead.

You Are In A Dream --- Awaken!

Are you paralyzed by fear? Romans 13:11-12 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Ephesians Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep. Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." 

It is time for you to awaken from this dream. For when you are in a dream, and you don't realize that you are the dreamer of the dream and can change it, you have fear. And there is great fear in the world because people do not realize they are in a dream. 

Do you think this world, the people, the events, the wars, the hatred is real? Do you think that a God, who is Love, could create such a world? 

Will you still believe that you are in darkness, in the night, or do you see the new dawn that is coming? Awaken from your dream, for if you don't you will eventually become paralyzed by fear.

Release Limitations

The Bible talks about people who lived to 900 or 1000 years old. Our society thinks that 100 years is old now.

You have the body of Christ. You are eternal! God expresses through you. Do you no think that you can live as long as you choose? Your physical body is created by your spirit, just as Jesus created a new body when he resurrected.

The reason our physical bodies decay is that we BELIEVE in limitations and that decay, sickness, and death are possible. What you believe in creates your experience. Remember, there are no limitations. You are One with God who is eternal and endless.

When you speak of God, you don't speak of limitations, so don't do it when you speak of yourself and others. Don't think or speak about yourself in reference to a limitation as this reinforces something which is false. Temporarily, you may be sick or handicapped, but this is something you are just experiencing, not who you are.

This applies to every limitation you think about yourself, such as thinking you are not smart, not confident, not capable, not lovable, not pretty. You do this to keep yourself in a prison cell of your own making. Are you afraid of your own divinity?

Divine Timing

Divine timing is always slow and steady. It may come quickly via the world's standards, but it never comes in a rushed manner. Everything is on its own pace, and it falls in place exactly as it should be. 

Remember, a piece of a puzzle can't go into place before the other pieces of the puzzle around it are in. Feeling a need to be rushed is from the ego mind and relates to the future. Since only the present moment exists, there is no need to be rushed.

If you have certainty that something will happen, you can be very patient because you KNOW it will happen. This is faith in God and His timing.

Be Open

When you talk to someone and you have your arms crossed, you are giving them an unconscious signal that you are closed off, disinterested, or fearful of what they are saying. When you open your arms, you are acknowledging that you are open to whatever they need to express, even if that is anger at you. The more open you are and accepting of all, the more you will open yourself to His presence. Just the simple and physical act of uncrossing your arms when you speak with someone will cause miracles to happen in your life.

Don't Take Love For Granted

Although it will always be there, for it is your essence, don't take Love for granted. Enjoy every ounce of it.

We get caught up in so many details of life. We get mad and hold grudges. We withhold forgiveness. We judge ourselves and others. We see through very colored lens based on OUR belief system which has been formed through our experiences and the conditioning we incurred as a child --- from parents, from religion, from society's messed up values.

But these are all false! For you are Love. Be it. Show it. Feel it. If you are scared of doing that, push through it. When you have been walking in a deep rut of fear and judgment, you have to create a new path. And the only way you do this is by practicing continually. This forms new energy pathways in you --- actually it reawakens the true pathways of Love inside of you.

You won't get it perfect to start, because falling down is part of the process of learning how to get it right, and it also makes you want it even more. When you hurt someone you love because you are not acting as Love, that is a great motivator to do it different the next time. Life and God give you many, many, many opportunities to practice this, because this is what you came here for, this is what you asked for. We remember and recognize that we are Love. This is the Truth of your being --- it is just covered up by a false belief system that tells you that you are not lovable, that you have to achieve something to be valuable, that everyone is out to get you, that you are a victim, that the government or some other individual will give you what you need or help you get to Heaven, etc. etc.

The ego thought system is very ingenious in its ways to fool us and keep us thinking we are victims, keep us thinking we have to look outside ourselves for who we are. But it is pretty simple. We are Love, for we are One with God. Be that which you are, for you cannot NOT be something that you are.

You can pretend to be something else, but that does not change reality --- thank God! We are each part of the most amazing mosaic of existence, a coat of many colors. We exist as One Consciousness (God) but with an infinite number of expressions. No expression is better or worse than another. Each flows with grandeur, holy and perfect in its form, regardless of how it appears to each of us who are looking through a colored lens based on our belief system.

For behind appearances is Truth. We must look past our belief system to the one ocean that has waves which come and go as temporary individual expressions, to the colors such as the many shades of blue and green and grey.

It "appears" that a wave is separate, or that a certain stretch is blue, but these appearances are just that. They come and go --- the wave crests and then returns to the ocean; the blue sections fades with the weather or the tides. They all appear different, but they are still the one ocean.

Similarly, we are expressions of God while in this earth reality, but we "return" to Him. We don't really return, for we have never left Him, kid of like a ray of sun is not separate from its Source. But we are like the wave that expresses and then returns to the ocean where it becomes One with All.

For even when we are expressing as that wave, we are still not separate. The joy of God, of us, is in being that individual expression that becomes the coat of many colors. The ability to experience many expressions of Himself through and as each of "us." We can experience and be that joy if we see behind the appearance and know that our identity is much greater than the role we play.

Truth Is Known

Do you notice how the more someone wants to convince you of something, the less they believe in it themselves?

They want to convince you so they feel better about what they believe. This is why people join groups related to common beliefs. Being part of a group of others makes them think and feel the belief system is somehow more valid, which it is not.

This is how hatred is exacerbated, cults survive, and wars start, because having all of these others believing the same thing makes it appear "right." The group falls into a herd mentality, just like a pack of animals. And if someone in the group challenges the belief system, they are ridiculed (very prominent tool used these days to just dismiss someone who actually has "higher" thinking which challenges that person's beliefs), excommunicated, etc.

Don't think this dynamic only happens in cults or similar groups. This happens everywhere in varying degrees --- political parties, social situations, workplaces, etc. Being part of a group and herd mentality takes you farther away from Truth as you have effectively blocked out God by not allowing your beliefs to be examined and to evolve.

Truth is known. If you truly know, not believe, you KNOW --- there is no need to convince others.

Sin

By definition, whatever is Truth is always Truth. It is Changeless.

If you believe in sin as real, then it is changeless, and there can never be forgiveness or penance. Under this belief system, you can never come back to God.

Therein lays the unspoken dilemma of most religions. When you see that there is not a universally accepted definition of what sin is, then you can open to the Truth that sin is arbitrary and changing. Sin exists only within the eyes of the beholder as that person moves through this illusion. Thus sin is only part of the dream.

Comparison

Comparison serves no purpose except to keep you feeling separate from God.

There will always be someone smarter than you, better looking than you, richer, more accomplished, more spiritual, younger than you. But these are all appearances.

When you compare, you place your faith in what is false. In God, comparisons become meaningless, for we are One. Oneness means no differences --- there is nothing to compare.

It is all God. Is one love better than another love? There is just one Love, and you are a part of that Love.

You Are What You ...

You are what you eat, think, see, and do. 

If you eat unhealthy junk food or heavily processed foods, you are polluting His Temple and He cannot shine through you. If you constantly think poisonous thoughts, you cannot hear Him speaking to you, nor can you reflect His thoughts and His Love to those you encounter. If you see a world of evil and believe that this is truly how it is an not an appearance, this reflects how you feel about yourself. If you commit acts that are harmful to others, you are really committing those acts on yourself.

All You Know ...

All you know is not all you are. Many people just know this world, this ego based dream of separation, as their only reality.

Even when they are given glimpses of Truth, and everyone is given glimpses in a form that works well for them, they make the mistake of assuming that these glimpses may be at best rare exceptions, and at worst the glimpses didn't really occur.

Hold strong on to your glimpses, because these are one of the foundations of your faith. These glimpses are not exceptions or rare occurrences ---- these are all that exist.

You just need the eyes to see. It is easy to be deceived by appearances in the world, but these glimpses are your Truth.

Joy Or Inconvenienced?

When you are asked to do something, your ego sees it as being imposed upon or doing it because you have to, maybe as a tradeoff to stay in someone's good graces. It is thinking purely of itself.

The Christ in you, the Real you, thinks nothing of itself. Its joy arises from giving to others, selflessly, wholly, and unconditionally. The next time someone close to you asks you to do something, what do you initially feel and think? Do you feel put out or inconvenienced, or do you feel immediate joy around doing this?

Above Your Belief System

It is really simple. It's your belief system that blocks your recognition of God.

So you say that you can't live without a belief system. But what you don't realize is that your beliefs are your own. Comparison, judgment, perception --- these are all attributes of an ego mind formed from your experiences and conditioning. These are not universally held.

Further, when you believe in a certain thing, you automatically don't believe in its counterpart. God is ALL. Thus you are setting up a system where you see separation, not the Unity that underlies all. 

The stronger someone holds beliefs, the more separation they see in the world and themselves, the more fear they feel, etc. Your beliefs are perceptions you hold, not Truth. They change every moment as new info enters in, thus there is no absolute. 

You have to rise above the belief system to know Truth. And yes, you can operate in this world above a belief system --- that's what Jesus did --- in this world but not of it. Being in the world but not of it means we have preferences -- we like strawberry ice cream instead of chocolate, and it means we use discernment, not judgment. Judgment condemns. Discernment sees the actions or words of another as not being in alignment with God but still loves and has compassion. Being in the world but not of it means we know at a deep experiential level that we are Spirit awakening in a body based reality.

Being Blessed

It is true that God is a God of Love and abundance and will bless you richly, but this can only happen IF you believe this to be true.

If you have beliefs that run counter to this, such as "I am not worthy" or "I am a sinful person who deserves God's punishment," these beliefs have to be cleared before God can truly reveal Himself to you.

Many people hold these false beliefs about God and themselves, but they do not realize this, as these beliefs run under the surface like a bad computer virus. if your life does not reflect the richness that God has for you, then ask to be shown these limiting and negative beliefs and be willing to release them. This is growth. This is remembrance and evolution. This is why you are here.

Love Flows To The Lowest Levels

Love does not look for credit or adulation for its deeds. Love fills the holes where it is needed.

It flows to the lowest levels to provide sustenance, whether this is anonymously, a smile to a stranger on the street, or a position on the world stage. Love sees no differences in what it does. Love is just filling the gaps where it is needed.

Disappointment Versus Discouragement

What is the difference between disappointment and discouragement? 

When you turn your life over to God, you know He has your highest good. When something doesn't happen that you are expecting and which you feel is part of your path, you may be temporarily disappointed, but you won't be discouraged. 

Knowing that God has your highest good, you can be patient and wait for what is certain to happen. In God, all things are certain.

How To Become Free

When you begin to give up all the ego games and strategies and defenses, all of the ways you try to control situations or people, you look back and see how you have imprisoned yourself and cut off your peace and joy.

You lived in hell, but you don't know it is that until you have stepped out of it, at least temporarily, and looked back. For His peace and joy can only come from being free, and you are only free when you have released that which is false and which blocks your recognition of your Oneness with Him.

In this reality, we pretend to be something we are not --- we believe we are actually the roles we play --- which takes a lot of energy. We can still play the roles WHILE knowing that we are not those roles. All of the energy we were using to deny who we are becomes available to enhance who we really are. Then your life moves with ease and Grace, and this is how it is intended.

Expectations for Love

A relationship without expectations is a divine one. When there are no expectations, no unconscious burdens, there can be true Love.

For Love is only true if it is free, and to be free, it must not have strings attached. That is why our Love for God is free. He does not require that we love Him. We choose that, and that is why the Love we have for Him, and the Love He has for us, is so beautiful and holy.

Are You Doing God's Work?

How do you know if you are doing God's work? 

Moving closer to God is a journey of self interest. The things of the world can be enjoyed, but they don't bring you true joy. What makes you joyful is to spread God's Love and His/Her joy to others, to put a smile on someone's face, to make them laugh, to help them know how much He/She loves them. 

We make things so complicated, but we are simply here to love and be Love, to be an expression of our Creator who is Love. As we open to our true Self and become a vessel through which He/She expresses, we become that which we already are. 

We don't have to do anything to be who we are other than release what is false which makes us think we are something else :) Everything in life --- our relationships, our job, our experiences --- they only serve as vehicles to help us remember that we are Love. They have no other purpose.

We are not here to achieve: we are here to be an expression of Love. How do you know if you are doing God's work? Does expressing Love give you joy? By following through on what gives you true joy, you are doing His work. 

It is in your interest, God's interest, the interest of everyone else --- for we are One and what we do to another is done to ourself and vice versa --- to be Love!
