Let Go Of The Outcome

 When you give a gift, especially a spiritual gift, it is only beneficial to the extent that you let go of the outcome. For instance, if you feel led by God to give advice to someone, let go of whether that advice is accepted. Once you have said what God has led you to say, your part is done. Also, you are not in a position to judge whether that advice has been accepted. Only God has the full picture to know when and to what extent your words were accepted.

Accepting Christ

 The idea of accepting Christ has been misinterpreted as accepting someone/something outside of you. There is nothing outside of you --- how can there be when God is One, God is All. Christ is within you --- not the historical person named Jesus who came to know His Oneness --- but the essence that is God's Son and of which we are all a part (as was Jesus). You are not a body of flesh and ego/personality thoughts. You are THE Son/Daughter/Child of God. Accepting Christ means returning to the recognition of this, the recognition that as God's Son, you are Love (the Christ) as God is Love. This is what Jesus came to show you --- that what he did you can do as well, and he told you this.

Shadow Parts

 The paradox is that your shadow parts --- those parts you consider evil and hate --- can't be transformed until you recognize them at a conscious level. You are whole, complete, filled with the one Light of God, so these shadow parts don't really exist, but as long as you suppress them, they exist through your belief. You think that by pushing them into a dark corner of your psyche, they are taken care of and have gone away, but the paradox is that they "won't go away" until you recognize your belief in them by bringing that belief to the surface. Also, because we are One, we are subject to all of the "negative" and evil that exists in the collective consciousness. So we will have "negative" thoughts such as anger, greed, need for punishment, etc. We need to have compassion on ourself and let these pass through us, not entraining with them or condemning ourself for having them.
