Punishing God or God of Love?

You can look at something you are experiencing as punishment, or you can look at it as an opportunity to grow stronger in your faith and grow closer to Him. The former goes hand in hand with the belief that God is a punishing God; the latter goes hand in hand with a God who is Love.
