Giving Up This World

We are meant to be in this world but not of it. This doesn't mean we can't enjoy the trinkets of this world, but we can't be attached to them or put them before God. It is difficult to give up this world if you still think that you are sacrificing something, that you are giving up your happiness, even salvation. It is even more difficult to give up this world if you don't have full faith that what lies behind the appearance of this world are joy, peace, Love, and especially God.
