Seeing Falsely
Imagine that you are blind. When you meet someone for the first time, you can't see them. You can't see their body, thus you can't make a judgment about them based on how they look. Our judgments are based on how the body appears and how that fits in with our past experiences and our belief system. If you can't see the person, you can really "see" who they are with a vision that is not of the eyes. Lawrence traveled a long road of recovery from sexual abuse and is the author of three books on emotional and spiritual healing, including "Thirteen Steps To Move From Victim Consciousness To God Consciousness: Healing Traumatic Experiences Including Sexual, Physical, Emotional, And Mental Abuse."
