What Is Your Desired Outcome?

The outcome of any situation is determined by the goal that you set to be the outcome. When the goal is peace and Truth, that will be the outcome, as your actions and thoughts will be directed to this goal. This is contrasted with the way the ego sees a situation. If you are seeing through eyes of the ego, you do not set a goal, as you believe that an experience or situation consists of random and non controllable events and interactions that happen as part of the experience, and these determine the outcome. Set your goal for fruits of the Kingdom --- peace, Truth, joy, Love --- and not for things of the world because the things of the world do not bring you the fruits of the Kingdom. You can enjoy the things of the world, but don't make them your goal or be attached to them as then you place them above God.
