Sex As A Substitute

 The vast majority of people in this dream unsuccessfully use sex to try and recreate the Union with God. They look to climax to feel the ecstasy of that missed Union, and they mistake love for their partner as Divine Love. If they are both of a right Mind and see their partner as God, they can achieve a union that opens the door to Union with God. But this is very rare. Most relationships cannot achieve this, because they are unable to see God in their partner nor see Him in themselves. So sex becomes purely a body function with a climax that lasts only momentarily and which is not a substitute for real Union. Because they do not know what they truly long for, some people increase the frequency of sex and partners in a futile attempt to find Him. When we remember our relationship with God and enter into Divine Union, the ecstasy is eternal, and it is of an infinite magnitude compared to anything in this dream.
