Pride

One of the hallmarks of the ego mind on the spiritual journey is pride. We fall into the trap of believing that all that has been revealed to us is all there is, and we compare our "knowledge", our "achievement", against others who we see as on the path. 

We will never reach the end of the rainbow. We are All, but we cannot know All while in a body in this dream. Pride prevents us from being open to new revelations.
