Balance Is Missing

 Western society and much of the world is unnaturally skewed toward the masculine. This is why someone with power, money, and a strong logical mind is put on a pedestal and viewed as the goal everyone should attain, and this is also why God is viewed as a male deity who is judgmental and punishing. 

But the Divine encompasses a perfect mix of the masculine and feminine. We have undervalued and denigrated the feminine aspects --- compassion, gentleness, non judgment, tolerance, patience, intuition, joy, and Love. And we have misinterpreted the masculine aspects such as power. Power means to know the Unity of all things and to stand tall in what you are. It is not to be used to take advantage of or crucify an individual or group. Only when we acknowledge the importance of a balance between the masculine and feminine can we heal ourselves and the world.
