We have much to be grateful for. If you are struggling with being grateful. find one thing for which you are grateful, and that will open the gates of Heaven for you. Can you be partially grateful? Can you be partially pregnant? You are either grateful or you are not. If you find one small thing, then you are fully grateful. Everyone has the same thing for which we can be grateful. Even if we have a body that is decrepit, or a disease which is killing us, we have a consciousness that is eternal and which will live on, even when the body "dies." Each of us has this consciousness, because there is only one Mind. This is the Mind through which we commune with God. Regardless of the state of our body, regardless of the outer circumstances of our life, we can be in and we can be grateful for the holy communion we have with Him.

Be passionate about something. This doesn't include making money. Having that as your primary reason doesn't work anymore. Be passionate about a venture, a project, a cause. Be passionate about being alive. About God. When you do that, great abundance will come to you. This will include not only financial abundance, but so much more --- the fruits of Spirit --- Love, peace, and joy. And these are what you truly long for.

God is communicating with you all of the time, without exception. He is "inside" of you and you are in holy communion with Him, and He is "outside" of you. Everyone and everything that crosses your path has His/Her message --- the way someone smiles at you, how the sun shines on you, the silence when you go walking in the woods, the hawk that flies across the road. Most people are not "listening" to all of this because they think that just the obvious communications are from Him. But it is All! If it were only some of the the time, He/She would not be One.

True vision tells us that giving it means keeping it and increasing it. That is the law of Creation. God created His Child (you!) through an extension of Himself. Because we appear to be in a body in a 3 dimensional world, we place great emphasis on actions and results. We believe that our thoughts don't matter or don't have any effect, because they belong to us. But you are thought. You were created as a Love thought in the Mind of God. Thought is all that matters. Every thought you have creates a ripple in the body of God. Manifestation in the physical world is what you treasure, but that is like treasuring a cheap trinket when you can have the crown jewels. The joy and gratitude comes from the thought which creates the manifestation, not the manifestation itself.

We come into this reality and body from a place where there are no limits. And because everything in this reality appears separate, and we are housed in a structure, a body, which appears to have limits, we believe in limits. Our task is to remember and actually return to a consciousness of being unlimited - while we are still in this reality.

Only that which is real can be shared. How we each see the world through this 3D ego lens of reality is not shared because its not real. We think others share how we see things, but it is just a bunch of individual delusions. But who we are as Spirit and that Consciousness is truly shared.

Surrender means not trying to figure it out. The more fearful we become, the more we try to use the ego mind to figure it out, and this is the opposite direction we need to go as the ego mind is not of God. Only He can alleviate your fear. And you can't figure Him out.

The ego is always looking for something to attach to and judge and get mad about. It needs to judge itself or others, feel guilty, worry or be in anger or fear. It doesn’t do well with the emptiness of our natural state.

God wants to give you everything you want, but if you live in fear of something not happening, He cannot be where fear is present. He can only be where Love is. If you feel the joy and gratitude of having whatever it is you want, He is there, for He is joy and gratitude.

We are each in so much pain whether we recognize it or not. We live a in a world of contrast, of duality. This means we experience both joy and sorrow, both peace and anger, both Love and hatred, both Unity and the appearance of separation. Unlike Heaven where everything is One and Love, we come here to experience opposites, and through them, to remember who we are and what we want --- hopefully Love and the one hearted compassionate way. We have all chosen experiences which will show us what we want to remember, and this can mean coming into dysfunctional or abusive childhood dynamics, relationships which trigger our fears and insecurities, difficult economic situations. Everything and everyone is a vehicle for remembrance. And we long for a deeper experience with God, for we exist in a perceived state of separation in this reality. This causes us great pain. We can numb this pain, and many --- unfortunately a large majority --- do with any number of medicators such as drugs and alcohol, money, sex, power, etc. Or we can face the pain and find the divinity within it. For God is within, and that means He is within everything --- every person, every circumstance, every experience, every emotion --- everything. We must use God as our medicator. God must be the one to numb the pain, because when this happens, it transmutes the pain to peace and joy. See the divinity within your anger or grief. Know that God experiences it with you, as you, through you. You are never alone if you will only turn to the Source of Love.

If you look to the body for pleasure, it will also give you pain. Believing you are a body invites illness, decay, and eventually death, because the ego assigns sins to the body.

Follow your joy, and the abundance will come. The abundance will include financial wealth, but what you really want is the peace and Love that is part of the abundance and that accompanies the joy. If you start with material or financial considerations and goals first, then the joy will not come. The joy has to be first.

We believe that the role we play in this dream is who we really are, and this is false. We are not the forgotten grandmother, the high powered attorney, the abused spouse, the esteemed politician, the middle child. Each is just a role someone has agreed to take on in order that they might remember, and they might help others to remember, who they really are.

Throughout history there have been many atrocities committed on groups of people. When it is over, you have heard the phrase "never forget." When this is said, it is the same as saying never forgive. When we forgive, we don't forget what happened, but we don't dwell on it either. True forgiveness means to see the experience in a different light, a much larger perspective. There is no anger, hatred, bitterness, resentment, or self pity remaining when we truly forgive. If we look back, it is for this important reason. God wastes nothing. Out of every tragedy can bloom roses if we allow it. So when we look back, look back for the gratitude, for the roses, that came out of the experience and allowed us to move closer to Him.
