Expansiveness

 Expansiveness brings you into a greater awareness of God, not cutting yourself off from others. If you see someone as an energy vampire, someone with energy that you deem not to be good for you, then you are seeing bodies as reality. If you see through the ego, it is understandable if you want to "protect" yourself from "bad" energy, because that is how the ego views it. 

But this is an illusion. Love is all that exists. When you see that "energy vampire" as Love, and you allow that Love to merge with your Love, you connect with the true essence of that person. This "bad energy" can't affect you, because you are not giving your belief to something which doesn't exist. Now, you may prefer not to associate with this person, but that preference does not come from judgment.
