A relationship without expectations is a divine one. When there are no expectations, no unconscious burdens, there can be true Love. For Love is only true if it is free, and to be free, it must not have strings attached. That is why our Love for God is free. He does not require that we love Him. We choose that, and that is why the Love we have for Him, and the Love He has for us, is so beautiful and holy.
