Almost everyone walking the planet is in a deep state of grief, grief over separation from themselves, especially those who experienced any type of trauma as a child, and grief over separation from God. The grief is so powerful that we look outside ourselves to medicate it or distract us, but we can’t come home and come into a full knowing of ourselves and achieve the purpose for what we came, until we acknowledge and feel this grief.

You can't truly forgive until you have recognized and released your anger. This does not have to be done to the face of the person you have the issue of forgiveness with. It is best not to express yourself by blasting someone, as this adds to the original issue, delaying your forgiveness. We do not have to release it to their face, because this is for you, not for them. As important, we are not separate, we are One. Even if they are not physically present and even if they are no longer on this earth, you can release the anger when you are by yourself.

When you love someone or something, you open the door for that Love to be returned to you. The key is that you have to love first --- be who you are. You can't wait on Love coming to you first, because in doing that you are placing conditions on Love, and Love is unconditional. We can love a person, an animal, a project, the earth, etc. At a spiritual level all of thses have a consciousness of Love that can be strongly connected with, as all is God. Even if you are dealing with a person who is outwardly hostile to you, if you see past appearances and love the Christ in them, you will feel the Love back from them at the spiritual or true level. When you operate in this realm, what they are saying or doing with their words or actions, even if it is hostile, becomes irrelevant.

You never want to make a decision when feeling guilty. There may be certain things you need to do or a behavior you want to change, but you can't make a clear decision about that if you have guilt and self judgment around it. When you release the guilt and self judgment, you clear the way to receive God's guidance as to what is your highest good and to what decision you need to make.

God would not be much of a God if He wants you to fear Him. God would not be much of a God if He sees what you see as sins as anything other than illusory errors. He would not be much of a God if He wants to punish you, for Love loves. You are One with Him, and He expresses through you --- why would He punish Himself? If you see God in these ways, and most people walking this planet do, then you are assigning human, ego based qualities to Him. He is not your human parent --- He is your divine one. You formed a false concept of God as a child with parents or caretakers who were human and who could not love unconditionally.

Think about the phrase "the peace that passes all understanding." What it is saying is that you cannot get to God with the thinking mind. It is beyond the comprehension of the mind. God resides in the heart, not the mind. We reach Him through our feelings, through Love.

If you are having a hard time feeling Love for other parts of God, start with respect. If you can't respect other individuals and groups of people, then you can't Love. And if you can't respect others, you are not respecting yourself. Respect is a step on the path to Love, because it shows that you honor, that you don't judge, differences. It is an appreciation for all expressions of God.
