We make choices, and those choices have outcomes and consequences. It’s not any more simple than that, unfortunately, many people do not recognize this. It is a wise person who recognizes the choices he or she makes and the outcomes that come from those choices, but that person has risen to a very high level of mastery and “know thyself” when they recognize WHY they make the choices that they do. When you recognize why you are making certain choices, you can then choose to change those choices to outcomes and consequences which are more in alignment with your true joy and highest good for yourself and that of the planet.

You are what you eat, think, see, and do. If you eat unhealthy junk food or heavily processed foods, you are polluting His Temple and He cannot shine through you. If you constantly think poisonous thoughts, you cannot hear Him speaking to you, nor can you reflect His thoughts and His Love to those you encounter. If you see a world of evil and believe that this is truly how it is an not an appearance, this reflects how you feel about yourself. If you commit acts that are harmful to others, you are really committing those acts on yourself.

Technology is not good and it is not bad. Everything is God, so good and bad are assigned by you based on how you see the world. How you use technology would fall into the category of "good" and "bad" based on what is right for you. Do you use technology to not be still? Do you have periods when you shut off your cell phone? Do you check email constantly? Do you have to get the newest gadgets? As a society, technology has become something that we have used to turn our face from God. Technology can be what we use to "avoid" Him, or it can be a conduit for coming closer to Him, such as this website which brings many together in one purpose --- when two are gathered in His name.

There is a beautiful ebb and flow to life. As God expresses through Creation, there is push "forward", a rest, a pull "backwards", and another rest before the push forward begins again. Nothing moves in a straight line forward --- thus there really is no "forward" and "backward"., And the rest periods, the pauses, are as important as the movement. This holy movement or flow is reproduced in so many things. Think of the in breath, followed by a very brief stop, then the out breath. Think of the tide. The tide moves forward, briefly pauses, and then moves backward before pausing and moving forward again. But the tide, although appearing to retreat, is actually moving farther inland with every new wave. Similarly, Creation is constantly evolving, expanding, moving forward, but with this in and out flow. This movement is your natural rhythm, how your life force wants to be in this world. Anything you do, like a business or some type of project or creation, even how you exercise or eat, needs to have this flow in order to be successful. What appears like retreats is simply the building of energy for the next wave to push farther forward, for Creation to unfold in greater holiness. And the rest periods, the pauses, are times when you can consolidate the energy and be grateful for what has been accomplished. Gratitude is critical for anything you want to be successful. And patience. When you are certain of the outcome, when you know that God has your highest good and you are doing His Will, then you can afford to be patient because you know what the ending will be.

Don't try to be like anyone else, including Jesus. He doesn't want you to place burdens or expectations on yourself, ones that you will probably never live up to in your own mind, creating continual self judgment. Be the most compassionate and loving Steve or Jane or David you can be. That will differ for each person as each one has unique experiences and different people that come into their life. But the one thing every person can do is to release self judgment and have great compassion on themselves.

When you have an emotional reaction to something, like you get really angry, go beneath the surface. There is a progression of beliefs that are behind the reaction. It is not a surface beleif like "he did this to me" that you want. Keep going and uncover the base belief around this. It will be something, something false, that you believe about yourself and possibly about your relationship with God. If you never dig deep into these emotional reactions, you will continue having the same reactions to the same situations, which has been defined as insanity.
