When we have a singular focus, and that focus is God, then our outer covering becomes like a thin veil, allowing our true nature, our light, to shine through. Throughout his teachings Jesus tells us how to become like him. As he showed his body full of light, so can we. If our focus is not singular --- we are in no man's land --- "ye cannot serve God and mammon." If we fully give our attention to our relationship with Him, then we have no worries about being provided with those things of the world. "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

If your life is not working the way you want and you want to have more peace and joy, stop creating your identity from what is temporary. Don't create an identity that you are a high powered lawyer, great doctor, or a leader of some group, not the member of a prominent family, not a member of a rejected class of society --- these are only roles you play, experiences you have, not who you are. You are not the forgotten middle child nor the rejected grandmother, not the victim, not the conquerer. Your identity is not one of low self worth, not one of guilt or shame, not fear. Your identity comes from one source --- from God. This is who you are. This is what is eternal, and for that we can express great gratitude and joy.

Jesus was able to heal those who believed. Because their thought/belief was in alignment with the Kingdom of God, those he healed were able to receive what he gave and the effect was complete. We have forgotten that we live and have our being in Him. We have forgotten that we are not the roles we play, that we are only actors in a dream. We have forgotten that His Love created us and sustains us. But it is not too late to make a different choice. It is not too late to turn our face back to Him, for this is the answer to all of your problems. The Kingdom is within us, and only by recognizing that can we create a different world. Each of us must individually make this choice so that collectively, as the One, we create Heaven on Earth. Do not place any idols before Him. What is it that you are attached to --- a relationship, career, prestige, material goods, food, medicators --- what is it that you place before Him? For we all try to use idols or trinkets of the world to the fill the longing we have for Him. The farther we perceive that we move from Him, the greater the longing and the more we try to fill that hole. Time is running short and everyone is being pushed to make a choice. This decision cannot be made from your mind --- one where you go back to the same ways the next hour. It has to be a commitment and a remembrance, a longing from the whole of your Being that comes from your heart. This is something only you can do for yourself. Do not turn your face away from Him again on a fruitless search. He waits for you. He desires you as much as you desire Him. This is why you were created.

The tools for healing --- psychological, physical, mental, and spiritual --- are always there, always. If you feel that they are not there, either you have not asked for them, or you are refusing to see them. Drop the idea that it has to look a certain way. Healing can come in many forms, and God will provide the form that works best for you. But you have to open your eyes and be willing to see it.

It doesn't matter what someone thinks of you. It is meaningless, because their view of you is almost always formed and set through a distorted lens based on that person's experiences and needs. They see you in a certain way because they need to see you that way --- it fits into their belief system and doesn;t disturb the apple cart so to speak. It only matters what you think of yourself -- actually think is not the right word, because what we think of ourselves is seen through our own distorted lens.
Now what we know of ourselves is different. We know we are One with Him and ALL that is. We know we were created by Him out of Love. We know we are not what we appear to be --- we are not a body living in a meaningless world that appears insane. We know our identity is not our experiences but the vehicle we have chosen to come back to God in our recognition. He has always known who we are but we are remembering. Thinking and believing are perception and mind based. Knowing is certainty based on experiencing our divinity through remembrance and recognition.
