And I can tell you that God thinks you are the most amazing part of Him and that He loves you beyond all measure of what you can comprehend. How do you know if you are doing God's work? Moving closer to God is a journey of self interest. The things of the world can be enjoyed, but they don't bring you true joy. What makes you joyful is to spread God's Love and His/Her joy to others, to put a smile on someone's face, to make them laugh, to help them know how much He/She loves them. We make things so complicated, but we are simply here to love and be Love, to be an expression of our Creator who is Love. As we open to our true Self and become a vessel through which He/She expresses, we become that which we already are. We don't have to do anything to be who we are other than release what is false which makes us think we are something else :) Everything in life --- our relationships, our job, our experiences --- they only serve as vehicles to help us remember that we are Love. They have no other purpose.We are not here to achieve: we are here to be an expression of Love. How do you know if you are doing God's work? Does expressing Love give you joy? By following through on what gives you true joy, you are doing His work. It is in your interest, God's interest, the interest of everyone else --- for we are One and what we do to another is done to ourself and vice versa --- to be Love!

You can’t create a solution to a problem until you first understand what the problem is. We do not understand that the problem is the belief in separation - from God and each other and all of Creation. Thus we have cut off our very wholeness, our identity as Cocreators. And we try to solve this by going the wrong way. We use more technology instead of spending time in stillness and the natural world. We buy more stuff to try and fill (unsuccessfully) the longing for God. We put young children on severe meds to neuter behavior which is coming because they are sensitive, which should be honored, and they live in a world that is assaulting them physically, psychologically, energetically, and spiritually. As our solutions increasingly work less in the best of circumstances and in many cases are often harmful, one would think that an enlightened and intelligent society would see that we are going the wrong way. But no one questions the basic premise and asks a simple question - what is the problem.

You can only transform something you don't like, something you judge yourself for, like a thought or a feeling, by fully accepting that it is a part of you NOW. That does not mean it will be a part in the next moment, but you cannot transform anything by pushing it off, trying to run from it, or pretending it is not there. How do you accept it? While you have these thoughts or feelings that you don't like, feel His Presence. When we do that, we acknowledge our unity and wholeness. When you try to push something off, which is impossible, you are believing that you are not whole. Anytime you self judge, you believe that you are not whole and that you are separate from God. Bringing God in transforms that which you don't like, because it helps you see from unity instead of self judgment and separation.

Many people flee from difficult relationships, whether that be with a spouse, a significant other, a friend, a boss, etc. But these relationships are meant to show us something about ourselves that will provide a large leap forward on our path back to God. If we can stay present in these relationships, we can see the gift that the other person is providing to us. They give us a mirror into ourselves, a mirror into false beliefs that we would rather not look at. But these false beliefs are what creates the barrier between us and God. When you are able to bless this person for the gift they have given you and you are able to see God working through them, you have really arrived. If you flee from these relationships, you will encounter similar situations time and time again until you have mastered the lesson that these relationships bring.

Born again is meant to be literal. We are no longer the person we thought we were before, because we are no longer an ego. We truly become a vessel through which God can express Love without hindrance. We become the Christ, we become Love just as Jesus did. We return in our recognition and remembrance to the moment of our birth, the moment when God created us out of Love, and the only moment which exists.

Your holiness is inherent. This can never be taken away from you because it comes from your Oneness with God. This is your inheritance. You believe you have become less holy (sinful) because of your actions, words, or thoughts, but you are deceiving yourself. Appearances deceive --- Truth remains. God is sinless. Your holiness cannot change because God cannot change.

Guilt serves no purpose except to keep you in a separated mind where no joy is present. Guilt always relates to something in the past, so you never reach the joy of the present moment. If you feel guilty, simply use that as a recognition that you want to do it different the next time, and then let the guilt go.

You will see what you think brings you joy. For some, this is innocence and Love. For others, this is pain, sin, and suffering. If it is these three that you believe will bring you joy, God continually brings you experiences and people that can awaken you and show you how distorted your belief system and thinking are.

God wants to give us everything, except the lottery. God wants what we want. We were created out of Love so that He/She could know Himself/Herself. For when God is Love, ALL that exists, there needs to be an object of that Love and we are His Beloved. So God expresses through us, and as we experience, He experiences. No experience is better or worse than another, regardless of the colored lens of beliefs and judgments that each of us applies to what happens to us. All experiences are all holy, all perfect, as this reality is just a learning field for experience and awakening. So we decide as Spirit what we want to experience to come to a greater knowing of our Self, and then God puts this into motion by bringing those vehicle --- people and experiences to us. What we desires at a Spirit level is far different than what we THINK we want. At a Spirit level, we desire those experiences which will help us become more aware of our divinity, our Unity, that we are Co-creators with God, that we are Love. At an ego level most people just want more of something --- more money, more power, a better body, a better job, a better relationship, etc. The ego is never satisfied and lives in constant judgment of itself and others. It does not comprehend Unity and only sees separation. It does not comprehend what is happening at a level of Spirit.
So most people would say they want to win the lottery. What they really want is to experience themselves as Love, to have the fruits of the Kingdom including His joy and the peace that passes all understanding. But they are so far off from recognition of their divinity, they cannot get in touch with their true desires. Nothing happens by coincidence. God gives us what we need. For most people that means they don't win the lottery, because if they did, they would never have to face the fact that their identity is tied to money (or looks, education, etc). And as we have discussed in other posts, money is only energy and is a part of God like everything else. It is not money that is the issue --- it is the love of money over God. Your identity is in God, not anything else. Some people do win the lottery. It is likely that they win it because they are so obsessed with having money --- they think that this will "complete" them, that they are given what they want SO they can see that this is not what they wanted. How many times have you heard of people winning the lottery and saying that it messed their life up in so many ways? God teaches us, shows us, through whatever means we need to understand. He is Love, so He is not trying to make it hard on us. But we make it hard on ourselves when we don't pay attention to the signs and we continue doing the same thing --- the definition of insanity is continuing to the same thing and expecting a different result. Because we have asked to awaken and we are not listening to the more subtle hints, sometimes God has to up the ante and hit us with a big 2 x 4. Again, Love is all that exists, and what happens to us is not meant as punishment but as a splash of cold water to help us come to our senses.
