Don’t Flee

 Many people flee from difficult relationships, whether that be with a spouse, a significant other, a friend, a boss, etc. But these relationships are meant to show us something about ourselves that will provide a large leap forward on our path back to God. If we can stay present in these relationships, we can see the gift that the other person is providing to us. They give us a mirror into ourselves, a mirror into false beliefs that we would rather not look at. But these false beliefs are what creates the barrier between us and God. When you are able to bless this person for the gift they have given you and you are able to see God working through them, you have really arrived. If you flee from these relationships, you will encounter similar situations time and time again until you have mastered the lesson that these relationships bring.
