All creation has a consciousness. A dog has its own personality its own anxieties and its own types of food that he likes to eat. A dog can’t do algebra but he can sniff a rabbit from far away. Who is to say that doing algebra is better than being able to sniff a rabbit. Certainly a dog loves unconditionally unless it’s taught not to. Maybe loving unconditionally trumps most anything that any human has the capability of doing because most humans certainly don’t love unconditionally.

When your body is in a lot of pain, are you that pain? When you have a strong emotion like anger or depression, are you that anger or are you that depression? Are you able to separate yourself from that pain or that emotion, or does it become your identity. If we lose ourself in that which we are experiencing, we lose our true identity. You are not the pain or the depression. Everything you experience is temporary, but if you make it your identity or you try to resist it, you prolong your experience of it. Try to be a witness to yourself having this experience, and this will show you a whole new perspective.

Imagine all of these tree roots leading up to and combining into one trunk that goes infinitely skyward. All of these roots are all the various religious and spiritual beliefs about God, who we are, why we are here, etc. When you are at the bottom of the tree, these appear as many roots, but when you get a very high perspective from way up in the tree, all you can see is One trunk.

In everything we do there must be wholeness and inclusiveness. God is Unity, and if we exclude anything, we are not operating in that Unity. When you have thoughts you don't like, do you try to push those thoughts out of your head? What if you accepted, were present with the thought AND were present with the desire to get that thought out of your head? When you concentrate on a task, aren't you excluding everything else? When you concentrate on what these words are saying, what if you were "aware" of your desire to get the meaning, of the silence between each word, of the bird chirping outside your window? What if you held all of these at the same time? This is not only possible. This is how you are meant to walk the world. Be full in Him, be full in ALL that is.

Powerlessness comes from acting like a victim. That is the ego's way of getting attention in order to confirm its own identity. But you cannot gain true power, the power that comes with being the Son of God, this way. Do you notice how those who act like a victim continue to add more items or points to their victim persona? Because they are not getting what they truly need, they ratchet up the victimization mode in a futile attempt to gain power that way. The lens of victimization starts for most in childhood, and when they are a child, they are truly a victim if they have been emotionally, physically, or sexually abused. They do not have the ability or the perspective to protect themselves and to see their experience in a different way. But when someone reaches adulthood, they do have the ability to think of their childhood experiences differently and to see from a higher perspective. They have the ability to make a choice. Do they want to remain in hell or not, because seeing yourself as a victim is hell. When you are healing from any negative childhood experience, you will reexperience the victimization and the feelings, the beliefs associated with what happened. But these are all meant to come to the surface, be felt, and be released for good. When you stay in the pain and beliefs associated with your victimization, you have not grown and you have not truly healed.

After you have been on this journey for a while and you live often in a state of spaciousness and joy, you form a belief that nothing should disturb your peace. And when something does, you get angry with yourself, and you feel guilty. Continued compassion on yourself is integral. As well, you need to remember that continued anger, guilt, and regret keeps you in a lower vibration where peace and joy cannot enter.

The more you live in fear, the greater your intolerance of other's beliefs of how they come back to God. The more you live in Love, the greater your tolerance of other's beliefs, because you are centered in God, and He is All. When you are at peace with who you are and your relationship with Him, why would you need to attack another person's beliefs?

An outside or worldly view does not "solve" your problems. They are solved by seeing them with His perspective --- then there are not really problems; there are opportunities to grow closer to Him. You may have to clear out the muck and false beliefs to recognize the peace and joy that awaits you, but he is there to assist you if you allow Him to help you see from a higher perspective.
