When you tell someone, "I love you, but ...", then you are not really telling them you love them! Love, as we know from God's Love, is unconditional. So when you say "but," that is not unconditional. Say "I love you, and I am angry at you." "I love you, and I wish you had done that different." Love is all inclusive regardless of how you are feeling, because Love is the fabric which everything exists within.
