What God Sees

God measures by the heart. 

You don't measure a person by their achievements, but by their willingness to be authentic and consistent. God sees our authenticity, not what we do for a living, how much power we hold, how much money we have. 

He sees our heart, how much Love we put into the world, how we learn from our mistakes, how we come to Him in the silence, how we listen to Him, how we have compassion on ourselves and others. For what we achieve in this world is not real to Him, not real in Heaven. But what is in our heart is Real. 

When we are authentic, we are consistent in trying to be the best version of ourselves. We will have days when our best is different than other days, and for this we need to have self compassion. The question we need to ask is if we are constantly looking to Him, constantly willing to look at ourselves so more of His Light can shine through.
