Your power comes from not caring what other people think of you. For this is looking outside of yourself for your identity, and your identity can only come from God --- not your parents, not your spouse, your boss, your religious community, etc. Do you need someone's approval to feel better about yourself? The only approval you need is from yourself and God, and I can assure you that God unconditionally loves and approves of you --- as you are! No changes needed. When He created you as part of Himself, part of Herself, there were no changes necessary. And nothing has changed since the moment of your creation. Perfect, holy, without "sin." When you can walk through the world and know your Unity, know that you are perfect as you are, know that others are perfect as they are, know that others are asleep and their perception of you has no bearing on how you see yourself, then you are FREE.

You are an example. You are a teacher, a demonstrator. You demonstrate and teach what you believe. Not only are you an obvious example to someone like your children, you are an example to yourself. You reinforce what you believe through your demonstration. You demonstrate judgment or Unity. You demonstrate Love or illusion. You demonstrate Heaven or hell. If you want to change your life, change what you believe, and you first do this through what you demonstrate and the example you set --- to others, for others, and especially for yourself. Each of us is a teacher to ourselves and others. If you can't yet believe it, fake it, in all of your interactions and words. You are not really faking it --- you are just finding what was always there but hidden. You are watering a seed that has been dormant for a long time.

Creation is the exact opposite of a zero sum game because in creation we are constantly adding to the total when we are creating new. When we love we are adding to the amount of love and that love is coming back to us in a beautiful endless loop. When we give abundance, we are adding to the total of abundance and the person we give to as well as us.

Knowledge is power. It’s only when we have full understanding and knowledge of what’s going on in this reality can we then let fear go and be in a place of hope and power. For we know things are being withheld from us even when it’s not conscious and this causes us fear so that we can’t act from a place of power.

All fear is good because it serves us in some way. We have a fear that’s built into our DNA that tells us to run from a tiger or not jump off a bridge on a dare and then we have psychological fears that don’t feel good but will point us to the false beliefs that are upholding them.

Do we get what we ask for? That depends on what part of us is asking and our belief system. If we are asking from a soul level and we have fully integrated our personality in our soul and spirit into a beautifully working one part being, then yes. And the soul desires will manifest very quickly. But if the ego is fully in control, then the soul desires may not be manifested unless there is an awakening, and the universe is pushing us to awaken because this is what we have requested at a soul level. Unfortunately if we don’t do that then we have to have a big stick dropped on our heads because we have not paid attention to the gentle taps before. This is what is happening for a large number of people in the world. If we are asking from an ego level for something to come about, we can manifest from this level because we are co-creators, but this may or may not happen depending on the underlying belief system. For instance someone might desire to win the lottery. It’s highly likely they are desiring to win the lottery because they believe that money will solve all of their issues and they are also trying to address low self-worth in a not so good way. So there is an underlying belief that they are not worthy and that belief is much stronger than the desire to win the lottery, thus they don’t win the lottery. If they had high self worth to begin with through the recognition of their divinity, then they would not desire to win the lottery because that would be a desire that is not in alignment with who they are. Of course a few people do win the lottery. Sometimes the universe teaches us what we don’t want by giving us what we think we want. How many times have we heard of people who lost all of their money after winning the lottery and said it was one of the worst experiences of their life? But in one sense we always get what we’re asking for because if we believe that we are not worthy than that is what will be brought to us.

We do not have a large enough perspective to know why He is asking us to take a certain action. We may think we know, but this can be ego arrogance. All we know for certain is that He has asked us to take a certain action, and we know that He always has our highest good. And that is true obedience and love.

We believe we have an infinite number of problems which constantly come up and need to be solved. But we have only one problem that underpins them all, and that is the belief in separation. Once we fully know our unity, what we have previously defined as our problems go away. Some may still exist in a form, but we see them in a completely different light and we have peace about them. It’s the peace and the surrender of them to the universe and God that “solves” them.

We have responsibility and that means our choices lead to consequences. But it also means that our non-choices lead to consequences. For instance if we haven’t spoken out against a great inequality of wealth and power in the world with billionaires having thousands of times more money than they need and others not being able to eat or not speaking out against people raping the earth or children being on pharmaceutical medicines that are like speed etc. So our non-actions are choices that have consequences too.

Only that which is real can be shared. How we each see the world through this 3D ego lens of reality is not shared because it’s not real. We think others share how we see things, but it is just a bunch of individual delusions. But who we are as Spirit and that Consciousness is truly shared.

Gandhi said, “When you surrender completely to God as the only Truth worth having, you find yourself in the service of all that exists. It becomes your joy and recreation. You never tire of serving others.” By giving we receive more. For by the very act of giving, we reinforce the fact that we have something to give, that we have abundance. Abundance is not only material wealth but joy, peace, and love. When we reinforce and are grateful for what we have by giving it away, the Universe brings us more of this. And because we are One, we give to ourselves.

God is becoming or manifesting through everything in the Universe. God is also the stillness or Being that underlies this manifestation. And God is the Transcendent that is above concepts of Being and Becoming.

Service starts with recognizing the divine within that which you are serving. This doesn’t have to be complicated - in fact it’s meant to be very simple. This can be as easy as a smile to the person checking you out at the grocery or it can be making your aged dogs last years with arthritis as joyful and as painless as possible. It can be replanting a Christmas tree that wants to be back outside or taking a worm from the road so it’s not smashed as St. Francis did. When we hear the Song of Creation — it’s actually when we recognize WE are the Song of Creation — we know what service is needed in each moment. Every act of service done with an open heart and as part of the song of creation is so powerful, even the removing of a worm off the road. Mother Theresa recognized the divine in the lepers. This is how she was able to serve them with the greatest of joy under extremely difficult circumstances in the slums of Calcutta.

Your peace comes from you. It doesn’t come from anything outside of you such as to how others are operating if they are judging you or if there is prejudice towards your race or your gender. There will always be prejudice towards certain races and there will always be misogyny but it’s how you choose to see it and whether you can laugh it off because it doesn’t have any effect on you. This doesn’t mean you don’t work to change it but it means that you don’t allow it to in any way shape how you see yourself for who you are. If you are getting angry about it then you are allowing it to shape who you are and alter your identity.
