Need For Forgiveness

 Forgiveness opens the door. It opens the door to your salvation. It points us to the perfect state of Love that exists in Heaven. In this earth school of duality and the appearance of good and evil, we are given many opportunities for forgiveness. Many people do not understand the importance of constantly practicing forgiveness. They believe this world is real, that salvation comes from having more than another, being in power. Why would you need to forgive someone you want to control or think you are better than? But spiritual maturity helps us to see with the eyes of God, that we are One, and what we do to another is what we do to ourselves. Only through forgiveness can we reach spiritual maturity and achieve true peace and joy --- His peace and joy, not the false joy that comes from the trinkets of the world.
