Down Periods

 Can you do anything to help you through the "down" periods on this path? That is the million dollar question on the spiritual journey. Like everything else on this path, the paradox presents itself. First, wherever you are, whatever you are feeling, you are complete, whole, and One with God, needing to do nothing. You are exactly where you need to be. This is the Truth of your Being. 

But you also appear in this dream world of duality where there are differences, where there are "up" and "down" times on this path. There are actions which you can appear to take which help you through the down periods, such as not allowing yourself to fall into self judgment or self pity because you think that you have done something to take away your connection from God. Appear is the correct word here, because you are in the dream, and everything is an appearance. So the paradox cannot give you an answer to the question we started with, but it can give you some type of answer and understanding by staying present in it. Each time you encounter these "down" periods, let the paradox guide you as to whether you do anything or not.
