As we have discussed many times --- but it needs to be reinforced
many many times --- you are a part of God. Quantum physics has proven
that only Unity exists and this is what is meant by God is One, God is
All that is.
Wow, that is incredible. God expresses through you and you share His holiness. That is your identity, not the roles you play. Too many people believe this world is the only reality and they think they ARE the famous lawyer, the middle child, the forgotten grandmother, the oppressed minority.
These roles are not who you are. These are different expressions of God. You move and have your being in Him, and He expresses through you to have a human experience, kind of like Joseph's coat of many colors. We are all the different colors, unique expressions of God but at the same time we are One.
As a unique expression, you have preferences. You may like traditions from a certain religion or you may like to live in a warmer climate etc. Many people condemn others for their preferences, especially when it comes to religion, sexual orientation, etc. Would you condemn someone because they like strawberry ice cream and you like vanilla? Of course not, and there is no difference between this and any other preference. If you think there is a difference, you likely live in a fear consciousness and you are projecting your judgments --- self judgment projected out --- on to others, groups, etc. If you live in a Unity consciousness and you feel God's Presence within you, you know that All is One, All is Love, All is as it should be, and this reality is only a very temporary but incredible learning ground for us to have Love and compassion on others and come back to a remembrance of our divinity.
Too many individuals and groups see themselves as oppressed and act like a victim instead of a warrior. A warrior takes responsibility for the ripples they create and he or she knows that anything said or done to another from anger/harm/evil is only going against their Divine nature and hurting themself because we are One --- what is done to one is done to another. Further, a warrior recognizes that they have chosen these roles, they have chosen to be a minority or part of an "oppressed" group because this was how they wanted to individually evolve and how they wanted to heal the world --- why would you get upset about something you chose at a Spirit level? And the world badly needs healing.
So next time you feel victimized and want to lash out, ask yourself what you want to put back out there. What do you believe about yourself? Are you the roles you play? It is your life and your choices, but the logical thing --- what His Will is -- seems to do things which affirm your Divine nature and bring you His joy and peace. Unfortunately, many people don't seem to do things in their best interest.
