Jesus called himself the son of man on purpose to emphasize that he was a human being. He did not want people to think that he was the only son of God and thus he did not call himself that. He said we are all sons of God and he included himself in that to show that we can do the same things he did and come to the same consciousness he did. He told us that we would do greater things than him. By his acts it was evident that he was divine but he wanted people to understand that the highest form of evolution we can make in a body is to be that perfect synthesis of the divine and the human. So we are each divine and living as a multidimensional beings in many realities but we are also children, parents, brothers, grandparents, community members, founders of companies. We are here to hold this great paradox because it’s the recognition and surrender to the paradox that takes us to the highest realms of our divinity.
