A relationship without expectations is a divine one. When there are no expectations, no unconscious burdens, there can be true Love. For Love is only true if it is free, and to be free, it must not have strings attached. That is why our Love for God is free. He does not require that we love Him. We choose that, and that is why the Love we have for Him, and the Love He has for us, is so beautiful and holy.

Why is unlimited patience important on this path? If you don't have patience, you are living in a time based and false reality. Your true reality is eternal where only the Now exists. Your patience is unlimited when you realize that what you want is not in a "future" time but is happening now, even though it doesn't appear that way to you.

When we realize that this world is not real, then we have mastery, and we are in full control. The illusion of the ego is that it is in control, which is not true from the perspective where it tries to determine outcomes and control others and work its agenda. It believes everything is random and doesn’t understand that we create our reality. So there is no control based on an ego perspective but there is full control from a soul level once we realize that the world we see is a reflection of our beliefs. Then we can choose to change our beliefs, actually drop our beliefs and move into certainty, where mastery resides.

Faith is of the mind. Certainty is of the heart. We have faith in God — we believe in something outside of ourselves so we are still in a state of perceived separation. We live in certainty, knowing there is nothing outside of us. There is only us and God and ultimately only God. Faith moves into certainty if we open our heart in compassion. As we open our heart, we become the love that we are. As opposed to faith which is an intellectual understanding of who we are, we have certainty from experiencing ourselves as love in every fiber of our being.

God is ALL. He is ALL that exists, and we are inseparable from that holy Unity. But we live in a world that appears separate --- duality. So it appears that we can improve ourselves, take better actions, say kinder words, etc. And in this reality that we live in, we can certainly do that. Each of us has that internal compass that tells us what we need to do that is more in alignment with who we are as Divine beings, and we need to pay attention to that every moment. When we recognize what we want to "change" in ourselves --- there can really be no change, only the appearance of change --- we must not have self judgment. We must carry that knowing that ALL is God, that ALL is holy and perfect, that we are holy and perfect, WHILE desiring change. We must accept ALL, accept ourselves as we are, WHILE recognizing what we want to "change." If this sounds paradoxical, congratulations, as you have recognized how the whole body of God operates. It is one large paradox. We are human and spirit. All is Unity but we live in duality. We are One with God and the Son/Daughter of God. Staying in the paradox opens up the gates of Heaven for you.

Abundance is much more than financial wealth. It speaks of your inheritance from God. These include peace, joy, knowledge, true power, and Love. When you pray for abundance, you are acknowledging that which you already have and that which you are. Abundance, including financial wealth, will come to you like an endless fountain, only to be passed through you to others, creating a beautiful and endless loop where more continues to flow to you.

Be "pro"active, not "re"active. When you are reactive, you are "re"acting. You are coming from an old pattern of behavior as "re" means before. Create a different way of dealing with a challenging situation by giving it to God and by asking His help in coming from a space of Love. This is being proactive --- you are making a choice to do it differently. "Pro" means for something, not against. God is All, so instead of reacting the same way and being against anything of Him, be for something, be for Him as you choose to do it a different way.

How can you define anything as perfect? Everyone has their own definition of perfection, thus there is no absolute. Would you define a piece of art as perfect? Jesus was very loving, but he could have always been even more loving. We can always be smarter, more kind --- where does perfection end? Perfection can only be defined as a complete absence. It is the complete absence of fear and guilt. This is an absolute. It is an end. It is the full remembrance and recognition of your Oneness with Him.

Divine timing is always slow and steady. It may come quickly via the world's standards, but it never comes in a rushed manner. Everything is on its own pace, and it falls in place exactly as it should be. Remember, a piece of a puzzle can't go into place before the other pieces of the puzzle around it are in. Feeling a need to be rushed is from the ego mind and relates to the future. Since only the present moment exists, there is no need to be rushed.

You feel rushed to get things done, as if there is not enough time. But there is an infinite amount of time, because time doesn't exist. In the present moment, in the Now, you never feel rushed, because you never feel fear. You do what is in front of you at that moment, then the next, etc.

You are exactly where you are supposed to be. How can it be otherwise? Wherever you are, be the best you can be. If you are a mom, be the best mom that you can be. If you are a lawyer, be the best lawyer that you can be. If you clean toilets, be the best toilet cleaner you can be. These are only roles you are playing. Play the role as if you are opening on Broadway. And don't compare yourself to anyone else in the same role or any other role. There is no abosolute best --- this is like asking whether a piece of artwork is perfect. So by staying in the present moment and being fully immersed in what you are doing at that moment, be the "best" that YOU can be. If you feel that you are not at your best, have compassion on yourself and know that you have the very next moment to change how you play that role.

You are in holy Communion with God in the one holy moment, and you can know that now. Do not delay any further, for this delays your joy, and do not live in the past, using it as a defense against experiencing what is Now.

When Jesus said to pay the Roman taxes, he was saying to observe the laws of the world as long as they do not interfere with the laws of God. When we fight with something in this false world, we become more enmeshed in the world, because we are giving power to our belief that the world is real by resisting something in it. If it is not real, why would you need to resist it?

Toddlers are shown flash cards or other educational materials so they can have a head start in school. You are only "successful" in school if you get good grades, which enables you to get a "good" job. When you have a good job, you can make a lot of money, and you can but all kinds of nice things, take vacations, etc. When you have everything you could ever possibly want, you must be happy, or so it is said. All of these steps, all of society geared toward this, so we can be happy. What does this give us? It gives us families that are not together --- we lack community. Communities foster a remembrance of God --- where two are gathered in his name. A community is not just a family. It is groups of families and friends who have chosen to closely live and work together, reflecting the wholeness that we are. The Native Americans and other indigenous cultures lived together in communities. They lacked for nothing because they realized that there was nothing they needed to achieve or gain to be happy. They knew that their happiness was intrinsic to who they were as an individual and also as part of the community, and their happiness was also reflected back to them through their relationship with others and with their Creator.

How do you know when you have healed or put a past experience behind you? When you have no emotion around it. Positive or negative. It was just something that happened --- that is all.

If you don't like what is happening in the world, don't judge it. For we are One. When you judge something, you are contributing to the illusion that we are separate. And you are judging yourself (for we are One). This is why Jesus said to not judge lest you be judged. This is basic Universal law, but the good news is that it works the other way too. All the love you gives comes back to you many times over. It is hard not to judge, as the appearance of the world and people's actions can be appear to be very counter to their divinity. But appearance is the correct word, and our judgment reinforces the appearance. Look behind the appearance to what is Real, to the Divine in yourself, in everyone and everything. Mother Teresa said to see Jesus in everyone. This is the heart of compassion speaking. For when we are seeing through eyes of Oneness, we see from our heart, and we have great compassion on others and ourself.
Compassion is gentle and forgiving while judgment is punishing and harsh. We can only have compassion on others to the extent we have granted it to ourselves, as we project out what we don't want to feel. So if you are being very judgmental, the first place to look is at self judgment. And then we must feel and apply the compassion and Love of God that is within. The appearance of the world is an amalgam of our individual self judgments. This is why the world appears as separate, everyone out for themselves, everyone blaming others, groups, nations, etc, which is a projection of the guilt many feel individually. So as Jesus said, the Kingdom is within. Your salvation is within. Start with yourself --- your beliefs, your fears, your prejudices, your biases, your conditioning from your childhood. Through what colored lens are you seeing the world and your experiences?

In every situation, in every encounter you have with another person, you are acting as a teacher. By your actions, or non actions, by your words or by your silence, you demonstrate what you believe. When you demonstrate, you are teaching the other person, and you are also teaching yourself, because you are confirming what you already believe. The other person is also teaching you and themselves in the same manner. You teach either Love (God's Kingdom) or fear (everything else). Do not be deceived by the myriads of forms that Love and fear can appear as. Your choice is simple --- Love or fear?

When Jesus said forgive them for they know not what they do, he was saying that all "evil," alll "sin," is a matter of ignorance, of not understanding. There is nothing absolute or permanent in evil and sin --- they are temporary states that fall away when Oneness with God and Love are recognized.
When you think that you know all the answers, you need to keep your mouth shut. That's when you know the least.

Imagine that you are blind. When you meet someone for the first time, you can't see them. You can't see their body, thus you can't make a judgment about them based on how they look. Our judgments are based on how the body appears and how that fits in with our past experiences and our belief system. If you can't see the person, you can really "see" who they are with a vision that is not of the eyes.

Romans 13:11-12 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. It is time for you to awaken from this dream. For when you are in a dream, and you don't realize that you are the dreamer of the dream and can change it, you have fear. And there is great fear in the world because people do not realize they are in a dream. Do you think this world, the people, the events, the wars, the hatred is real? Do you think that a God, who is Love, could create such a world? Will you still believe that you are in darkness, in the night, or do you see the new dawn that is coming? Awaken from your dream, for if you don't you will eventually become paralyzed by fear.
