A person centered in their ego cannot interpret the teachings of prophets and mystics of old, because their interpretation will be fear based. These teachings came through because these prophets knew their connection with God and they opened themselves up as clear vessels of Love, enabling them to receive revelations from a God who is Love, not fear.
