Desire And Preference

 What is the difference between a desire and a preference? With a desire we want something outside of ourself in order to feel complete. We create a hierarchy where something is seen as more desirable than something else. Anytime we create a hierarchy, we are seeing through the ego's eyes, through a world of differences and separation. A preference is simply something you prefer in this body at this point in the dream, maybe the color red, chicken instead of red meat, etc.
