A Parent’s Job

 A parent's job is first and foremost not to instill their fears in their children. Second, it is to lay out and describe the forest, not to pick the path through the forest. The child has to pick their path --- this is how they gain confidence and become an authentic human being who can know God because they have chosen their won path. They have discovered the dead ends and discovered the unique way that He has laid out for them. They are not living someone else's or society's expectations. They are living their own.
