God cannot help you unless you ALLOW Him to help you. It is one thing to ask for help, and it is another to follow through with accepting it. He will give you hints as to the steps you need to take for emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental healing, but it is up to you to take those steps, as you have free Will. If you don't take the steps, it will be obvious why your life is not what you want it to be.
