God As Our Mother

 We speak of God as our Father, but He cannot be limited that way. His Love is powerful, but it is also very tender, very gentle, as is a mother's love. If we are to fully know our Oneness with Him and know our divinity, we must nurture and balance both the masculine and feminine within us. Many men have the power, especially through anger, but not the gentleness and compassion as well as the ability to express feelings, especially Love. Many women can express Love, but they fear the power of getting angry and of standing tall in their truth. We change and balance this world by first balancing ourselves. Only then can the Divine shine through you where you can be a Light to everyone you encounter.
