Think about when you have a grievance against someone. It is always because they have done or not done something to you. They have not acted in the way you want. You believe that peace comes when they do what you want, but in reality it is only a very temporary cessation of fear. You believe that if you control the situation, you will be safe. But safety is only of God, and with that comes peace that passes understanding.
