What We Think We Need

 Here’s a spiritual lesson that plays repeatedly for people. Often, what we think we need and want is actually not what we need. The Universe will “withhold” what we think we need until we have learned the lessons of surrender and trust. Trust that we will be provided what we actually need that is in our highest good. This is a hard lesson for most people as it involves humility and a knocking down of the ego self. The trusting in God and the universal flow is a spiritual lesson that underlies all others, for we can then go through whatever healing trials and tribulations that are on our path with the trust that we are protected and these are leading us to a higher level of spiritual/unity awareness. So even if what we think we need is actually what we need, we may be delayed in getting it until we pass through this higher door or surrender.
