Your Joy Comes From …

Your joy comes from being of service. It comes from getting yourself out of the way and being a clear vessel through which God can move and have His Being. Nothing of the world can come close to the joy of being who you truly are. Being of service doesn’t mean that you have to do something big in terms of how the world might see it. It may be that you’re guided to found an organization that helps the homeless, but it’s likely that you are being asked and shown many other ways of being of service, most of which are simple. Listening to a friend with an open and compassionate heart, playing and laughing with your children or grandchildren, giving a smile to the cashier at the grocery. These we can all do.
